Our Purpose
The Lubbock Business Association is an organization of businessmen & women, each member representing one firm from a specific classification of business. Members of the LBA are professionals and business leaders and are actively involved in the Lubbock community. LBA members are committed to the economic growth of fellow members.
Our History
The brainchild of Roger Marks and Mackey Hancock, the Lubbock Business Association was founded in March 1979 with 9 charter members.
In 2026, the members of the Lubbock Business Association compiled pictures, newspaper clippings, and more to create the LBA history book. This book is available to view as a PDF below for those interested in doing a deep-dive into the history of LBA.
